It is important to inculcate healthyeating habits for children from the childhood. Most children love to have oilyand junk foods, but this might have a harmful effect on their body in the longrun. Listed below are some health tips for children, read on.

1.Include liquids

Not only water, but fruit and vegetablejuices are also important for kids. Include natural juices on a daily basis.Juices help to detoxify the body and boost the immunity. Children often facethe problem of dehydration, because they play a lot. Liquids will help to keeptheir body hydrated.

2.Ask them to play

Most children sit either on computer oron tablets to play games. They hardly play outdoor games or exercise. It isimportant for them to indulge in physical activities; this will help them tostay active and healthy. Do encourage your children to play outdoor games.

3.Introduce healthy eating habits

All kids love to have junk food. But,there is minimum nutrition in these type of foods. So, it is better toinculcate healthy eating habits and minimize intake of junk foods. Replacetheir junk food habits with healthy food habits. Like, if your kid loveschocolates, thenreplace it with nutella spread.

4.Make them sleep properly

For staying healthy, a child must sleepfor at least eight to ten hours. Set a time for your child to sleep andinculcating this habit in him/her. Setting fixed sleeping hours will help yourchild to remain healthy.

5.Promote good hygiene

Hygiene plays an important part inhealth. Promote good hygiene habits in children, as this helps them to remainhealthy. Brushing teeth two or times a day or washing hands after playing andeating are some of the habits.

6.Make them eat veggies

Most children tend to make weird faceswhile having veggies. Some of them do not eat vegetables, as they do not likethem. Parents give them the liberty to have anything they demand for. If youwant your child to remain healthy. You always have an option of making them eatveggies in different forms. Make them eat veggies using creative recipes. Thiswill help them to remain healthy.

7.Include carbohydrates and fats

Do include some good carbohydrates intheir diet. As children play a lot, they need energy in the body. Also, makethem eat three to four small meals throughout the day. Healthy snacking optionslike fruits and cereals are always a good option.
